The city of Cuneo can be found in Piedmont which is in the north of Italy. Its position at the bottom of the Maritime Alps makes it a superb spot for a ski holiday.
Cuneo Airport (Levaldigi Airport) is located nearby the city and offers routes from three different airlines. Ryanair currently offer flights to Cuneo from Cagliari Airport and London Stansted Airport. Blue Air flies to Bucharest and Bac?u while Belle Air fly to Tirana.

The city of Cuneo is well known for its sweet tooth with some excellent traditional chocolates on offer. Rum is a popular local tipple. There are some pretty sights in the city such as the watchtower and the Villa Tornaforte. Museums of interest include the Railway and Civic Museums.
There are some spectacular ski resorts nearby including Frabosa, Limone Piedmonte, Artesina, Prato Nevoso and Garessio 2000.
There are over one hundred and thirty kilometres of pistes available at the Mondole Ski Area. Prato Nevoso is a beautiful resort which caters well for all the family. It features some really nice restaurants as well a movie theatre.
Frabosa will be known to many regular visitors to the area. All the amenities you would expect can be found here as well as an ice rink. At the Garessio 2000 resort there are four lifts offering access to thirty kilometres of skiing possibilities. There are some lovely views here of Corsica and the coast of Liguria from this resort.
Limone Piedmonte will be known to many ski fans around the world. It has been used as a resort for nearly one hundred years. The slopes are of around medium difficulty while the town area offers a lively après ski experience.
